Advisory on Passport/Attestation Services
Further to our previous advisories and subsequent 24 hours two week sterilization programme announced by Dubai Authorities from 5 April 2020, all BLS/IVS centres will remain closed in Dubai till further notice. Passport/Attestation Services of Consulate General of India at its centres in Dubai and Northern Emirates will, therefore, remain suspended till further notice.
Any Emergency case can be brought to the notice of the Consulate with documents explaining the emergency at the following e-mails
For Passport Services:- passport.dubai@mea.gov.in
For Attestation Services:- attestation.dubai@mea.gov.in
Consulate officials will revert on such cases within 24 hours.
It is clarified that an Indian passport can be renewed upto three years after its expiry under normal procedure. After 3 years of expiry of passport, it can be renewed only with prior police clearance from Indian authorities.
