INDEX Exhibition

More than 30 Indian companies working in the handicrafts and carpet industry participated at INDEX exhibition held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 17th to 19th September, 2019. The India pavilion was jointly organized and coordinated by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC). Consul General visited the India pavilion on 17th September and interacted with the exhibitors.


Automechanika Dubai 2019

EEPC India and ACMA with the support of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India organized the India Pavilion at Automechanika Dubai 2019 from 10 -12 June. Automechanika is the largest international trade exhibition for the automotive service and aftermarket industry in the Middle Eastern region. A delegation of about 100 Indian companies participated under the umbrella of India Pavilion. Consul General inaugurated the India Pavilion on 10th June, 2019 and interacted with the participants.


Beautyworld Middle East 2019

India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) along with CHEMEXCIL organized India’s participation at Beautyworld Middle East during April 15-17, 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre. 10 companies each from ITPO and CHEMEXCIL were a part of the India pavilion. Consul General inaugurated the India pavilion on 15th April.


Arabian Travel Market 2019 (ATM)

More than 20 exhibitors from India representing the state tourism department of Kerala, Air India, IRCTC, travel agents, hoteliers/resorts, wellness spas and ayurveda centres were a part of the India pavilion at ATM. The India pavilion was coordinated by India Tourism and the event was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 28th April to 1stMay, 2019. Consul General inaugurated the India pavilion on 28th April and also was present for a press conference hosted on the same day at the venue.




Middle East Electricity (MEE 2019)
EEPC India organized the India Pavilion at Middle East Electricity Show – 2019 edition which took place during 5th to 7th March, 2019 at Dubai World Trade Center. MEE is the leading international trade event for power and electrical industry with dedicated product sectors for power generation, transmission & distribution, lighting, solar, energy storage & management solutions in the GCC region. The event offers its exhibitors access to thousands of potential customers from across the Middle East, Africa (MEA) and the rest of the world. A delegation of about 30 Indian companies participated under the umbrella of India Pavilion. Consul General inaugurated the India pavilion on 5th March. Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) in association with EEPC India organized a networking session on ’Doing Business with India’ on 6th March at the venue. Consul Commerce was one of the speakers at the session and gave a presentation on the said topic of discussion.

Vibrant Terry Towel Roadshow
In line with the Vibrant Terry Towel Global Expo & Summit 2019 to be held in Solapur from 25-27 Sept 2019 a roadshow was held at the Consulate auditorium on 9 Feb 2019. During the roadshow strengths of the home textile industry of Maharashtra was showcased. Information on the Maharashtra economy and home textile/terry towel sector of Solapur was also shared with the attendees. Consul Economic attended the roadshow and also addressed the audience.

Gulfood
Close to 300 Indian companies participated in Gulfood which was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17-21 Feb, 2019. The companies came through APEDA, Tea Board India, Coffee Board of India and Cashew Export Promotion Council of India. A seminar was also held for the Indian food exporters at the Consulate auditorium on 20 Feb in the evening. Officials from Dubai Municipality gave a presentation and intimated the exporters about the various guidelines issued by the UAE authorities from time to time. 


ARABPLAST 2019

ARABPLAST, a show for the plastics sector in the Middle East Region was held in Dubai at DWTC from 5th to 8th January. Around 82 Indian companies exhibited at the India Pavilion which was organized by the Plastics Export Promotion Council of India. Consul Economic from CGI, Dubai visited the pavilion and interacted with the Indian exhibitors.

INTERSEC 2019

Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organized the India Pavilion at Intersec 2019 during 20 – 22 January, 2019 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Dubai. Intersec is the leading international meeting platform for the security & safety industry. Indian Chamber of Commerce brought 41 Indian Exhibitors from Fire, Safety, Security Management, Surveillance and related Safety Security Industry sector. India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) also organized India’s participation at the event. ITPO brought 28 companies from India who displayed a wide range of monitoring systems, surveillance, CCTV, DVR, video management & analytics, access/entrance control, biometrics/RFID, perimeter protection systems, guarding services, personal protection equipment (PPE), health at work, environmental protection at work and wearable security/ smart clothing etc. Consul Commerce visited the Indian pavilion and interacted with the exhibitors.

Arab Health 2019

 EEPC India, Pharmexcil and SEPC participated at Arab Health 2019 from 28 – 31 Jan at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre with more than 100 companies. EEPC India, Pharmexcil and SEPC have been consistently working towards promotion of Indian medical devices and pharma machinery globally. Dubai acts as a major gateway for Indian medical devices to the the entire Gulf and Northern Africa region. IBEF was the branding partner for India’s participation. The India pavilion was inaugurated by Consul Economic on 28th January.  


Gulfood Manufacturing

Gulfood Manufacturing was held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 6th to 8th Nov, 2018. Spices Board Indian participated in the event with fourteen spice exporters from India as co-participants. Gulfood Manufacturing is the region’s biggest food and beverage processing industry event which helps connect stake holders of spice industry around the world. Consul General inaugurated the India pavilion on 6th Nov, 2018.

VOD Dubai

The 4th edition of VOD Dubai International Jewelry Show (VOD DIJS) was held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14th to 17th Nov, 2018. The India pavilion was organized by The Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council. 63 exhibitors from the India pavilion set up their booths over an area of approx. 1014 sq m. The pavilion was organized in the sections – trade, retail, loose stones, global brands and machinery. Consul General visited the pavilion on 14th Nov, 2018 and interacted with the exhibitors.


Big 5

EEPC India organized India pavilion in the 2018 edition of Big 5 exhibition held in Dubai from 26 to 29 Nov, 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. EEPC India brought around 50 companies from the engineering sector to showcase their products and capabilities during the exhibition. The India pavilion was inaugurated by Consul General on 26th Nov, 2018. 


GITEX 2018

GITEX was held in Dubai from 14-18 Oct 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre. 32 Indian companies participated in the event under Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) India Pavilion. 27 companies participated under Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC). NASSCOM also set up an SME Pavilion which had 26 companies participating. Consul General Vipul inaugurated the Pavilions on 14th Oct 2018 and met the exhibitors. '

ESC 


WETEX 2018

Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organized the India Pavilion at WETEX 2018 held during Oct 23-25 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Approximately 50 Indian companies representing the Indian renewable, non-renewable and solar sector participated in the event. Consul Commerce, Shri Rahul Srivastava inaugurated the India Pavilion on 23rd Oct.'


INDEX Exhibition 2018

Index Exhibition was held at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 16th – 18th September, 2018. A total of 50 Indian companies participated at the show. These companies were under the banner of three organizations namely Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts (EPCH), Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) and the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC). The Consul General inaugurated the India pavilion and interacted with the Indian exhibitors at the venue.
