Dr. Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy

Dr. Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy assumed charge as the Consul General of India to Dubai and the Northern Emirates in August 2026. He is a career diplomat belonging to the 2008 batch of the Indian Foreign Service.

* He has served in the Indian Missions in Madrid and Geneva and in the Europe West and External Publicity & Public Diplomacy Division at the headquarters in New Delhi.

* He also served as the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) and Head of MEA Branch Secretariat in Hyderabad and as Special Secretary in the Industries Department, State Government of Telangana, on deputation.

Dr. Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy holds an MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and an MD from AIIMS, New Delhi. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish.

He is married to Dr. Vinoo Reddy Alluri and the couple has a son and a daughter.
