Student Visa: 

Foreign Students are allowed to study in recognized graduate and post graduate level medical, Para-medical, engineering and Technical institutes in India. Foreign students intending to pursue regular academic courses in India should apply for Student Visa. 

REQUIREMENTS 

Visa Applicants need to apply online at  http://www.indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/ along with:  

● Visa Application (2 sets); 

● Recent Photographs (three), Size 51 x 51 mm; 

● Admission Letter /Bona-fide Letter/ Provisional Admission Letter from the concerned GOI (Government of India) recognized University/ Institute in original with a copy; 

● Copy of  Passport and UAE Resident permit (2 sets); 

● Original Passport (including new and old, if any); 

● Undertaking from guardian/sponsor (2 set); 

● Amount of US Dollar 500 in travellers Cheque/DD/Cash for immediate expenses, on arrival in India; 

● No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Health, Govt. of India for Medical/Paramedical/Pharmacy courses; 

● Original Salary Certificate (Salary above AED, 5000/p.m.) in English and Bank balance statement of parents/guardian (last three months) in English only, with minimum balance of at least AED, 10000/- throughout these 3 months;

● Parents/Guardian Passport copy (2 set); 

● Certificate/mark sheet of last examination passed. 

Note: All applicants (except UAE/GCC nationals) must carry UAE residence visa valid not less than six months at the time of applying for student visa. Citizens of Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan and Foreigners of Pakistan origin may please apply for the said visa well before 60 days of their scheduled journey to enable the mission to process their visa in timely manner.
