ADVISORY

In view of the Amnesty coming into effect from tomorrow, August 1, 2018, Indian nationals are advised to approach the following first for redressal of their issues:-
         


For Dubai

 

i) People with valid passports who wish to return to India

Aweer Immigration

ii) People who have a passport but it has expired

BLS Centre to apply for Emergency Certificate (www.blsindiavisa-uae.com). The ECs can be picked on the next working day if all documentation is complete. After taking the ECs they can approach the Aweer Immigration Centre.

(iii) People whose passport is lost or kept by sponsors

They should first register a complaint with Dubai Police and then approach BLS for issue of EC followed by Aweer Immigration Centre. [In case police advise them to approach any Immigration Centre for clearing absconding case, they must do so].

(iv) People who have entered the UAE illegally i.e. without visa

Aweer Immigration and after completion of formalities approach  BLS Centre for applying for ECs.

(v) People with absconding cases

Any Immigration Centre in Dubai (list available at Consulate’s website) followed by Aweer Immigration/BLS as required.

(vi) People who want to regularise their stay

Amer Centre and then follow their advice.

 

  1. All Amnesty seekers may please note that for getting final Exit Permit from UAE Govt. (at Aweer Immigration) they require to pay the necessary fee, possess a valid travel document (Passport/EC) and an air ticket for India of a date of travel at least 10 days and maximum 21 days from the day of applying at Aweer.
  2. The Consulate is running a Help Desk from 8 AM to 4.30 PM in its premises for any help. There is also a hotline (No. 056-5463903) which is available from 8 AM to 8PM.
  3. For all other Northern Emirates the same process is to be followed with respective immigration offices or from recognised Indian Associations/Organisation and BLS.
