Since 1st September 2024, the Consulate General of India in Dubai has been operating Facilitation Centres at the Consulate and Al Awir to assist Indian citizens in availing themselves of the benefits of the ongoing UAE Visa Amnesty initiative.

2. In collaboration with various Indian diaspora organizations, the Consulate has facilitated more than 4000 service seekers. It has issued over 600 passports, 800 emergency certificates, and has helped with the issuance of more than 500 exit permits.

3. The Consulate urges eligible Indian citizens in Dubai and the Northern Emirates to take advantage of the amnesty program to legalize their stay.
