Surrender of Indian Passport/ Surrender Certificate

1. Application for Certificate of Surrender of Indian Passport may be found at:
https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/

2. The duly filled in application is to be submitted at the outsourcing (BLS International) centre along with the prescribed fee (AED 95/- + AED 08/- ICWF).

3. The application is to be accompanied by:

i. Original Indian Passport (while expired passports will be accepted, revoked, impounded and suspended passports will not be accepted for surrender)

ii. Two passport size photographs

iii. Proof of foreign nationality (Naturalization certificate or Registration certificate with date of acquisition of citizenship)

iv. Emirates ID / UAE Visa with newly acquired nationality mentioned on it.

v.Proof of residence in the UAE (DEWA bill / tenancy contract / Bank account statement / Affidavit)

Note: If the document is in a foreign language, it should be translated into English by an authorized translator and then attested by the Consulate / Foreign Ministry of which the applicant is a citizen.

4. Signature on the application should be affixed before the staff at the designated places during submission.

5. All applicants (except minors) could be called for personal interview at CGI, Dubai.
