‘Indian Visa Su-Swagatam’ Mobile App for Foreign National visiting India
‘Indian Visa Su-Swagatam’ mobile application has been launched to facilitate foreign nationals applying for and managing their Indian visas and immigration related services in a seamless manner.
- 2. The application is a one-stop platform integrating all major visa and Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) services. It has various value added services and a single point access to Indian visa and for availing visa related services in India under e-FRRO module. A new relevant service for OCI card holders for registration in Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP) for faster, smoother and secure immigration clearance has been onboarded on the App.
- 3. Key features of the App are :-
- a. Apply for e-Visa, Regular Visa, and Visa on Arrival (only for eligible countries).
- b. Dedicated categories for Business, Medical and Medical Attendant visas.
- c. Facility to track visa application status and download e-Visa ETA.
- d. Access to e-FRRO services within India, such as visa extensions, conversions, and exit permits.
- e. Access to essential information (medical, safety, police, Hospital, FRROs, Embassy).
- f. Fast track immigration-Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP) for OCI cardholders.
- g. Chatbot support, language translation and guidance on nearby services (tourism, transport, healthcare, lodging, etc.).
- h. Links to official portals for tourism, healthcare, business, yoga, safety, and foreign exchange.
- 4. The ‘Indian visa Su-Swagatam’ App is available for free download on both: Google Play Store (Android), Apple App Store (iOS)
