Art & Craft Exhibition Series" in the Consulate Auditorium on 15 July 2021

Consul General Dr. Aman Puri and H.E. Khalil Abdul-Wahid, Director of Fine Art, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai inaugurated "Art & Craft Exhibition Series" in the Consulate Auditorium  on 15 July 2021. This exhibition is a part of the “India @75”  Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations depicting vibrant colors of Indian culture, tradition, heritage & it's people.

2. The Consulate received 650 entries out of which nine artists were short-listed. The exhibition displays impressions of different techniques and art styles, bringing forward a vivid confluence of traditional and modern Indian artwork. Consul General Dr. Aman Puri in his remarks congratulated all the Artists for their valuable participation in the exhibition. Mr. Khalil Abdul-Wahid commended the artists and highlighted their contribution in strengthening cultural ties between India and UAE.

3. A Kathak dance performance was presented by students of Gurukul Studio, Dubai. The event was attended by members of Diplomatic community, representatives from Indian Universities, members from Indian diaspora and art lovers in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

4. This exhibition will be open for public from July 19 to September 8, 2021 for three days a week (Monday-Wednesday) from 1400 hrs to 1800 hrs.
