          Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is observing “Passport Seva Divas” on June 26-27, 2018. External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj has given a message on this occasion which is enclosed.

          Consulate General of India, Dubai issued 2,15,973 Passports in the year 2017 and 96,325 passports between January to May 2018. Besides this, the Consulate also provided 9105 miscellaneous passport services in 2017 and 4562 between January to May 2018 such as issuance of Police Clearance Certificates and Emergency Certificates. With the sustained efforts of the Consulate staff, the passport issuance time was brought down in mid-2017 considerably to 3-4 working days. It is the constant endeavour of the Consulate to keep improving the passport services for the Indian citizens.
