Advisory - Filing and tracking of Trade Disputes

            An online module for filing and tracking of trade complaints has been made operational on the website of DGFT. In order to resolve complaints or trade disputes relating to international trade Indian and foreign entities can now file trade complaints/disputes on the portal in the following way:
www.dgft.gov.in> Services > Files Quality Complaints/Trade Dispute > Fill online application form   

2. The complainant needs to upload documents related to the trade dispute wherever required, select the jurisdictional regional authority of DGFT/SEZ and the jurisdictional Indian Embassy/Consulate. On submission a Unique Reference Number (URN) will be generated and sent to the email id of the complainant.

3. While making any future correspondence the URN must be quoted in the subject header of the email. A link ‘View Status’ is also available for the complainant to check current position of the complaint on the above mentioned portal.

4. It is advised that the trade disputes  between Indian & UAE parties should be filed on the above portal. For further details about the complaint module please visit
