Advisory on Passport/Attestation Services

In view of relaxation given by authorities for opening of various establishments in the wake of Covid-19, it has been decided to further augment our Passport/Attestation services by opening of more centres from 26 April 2020 as per details given below:

Passport Services at other centres would be resumed later. Application for renewal of Passports will be accepted only for those passports which have already expired or are going to expire by May 31, 2020. Submission of Passport applications will be done only through prior appointment.

The process for accepting application will be as follows:

  • The applicant should send e-mail to BLS at <info@blsindiavisa-uae.com> seeking appointment in one of the above mentioned BLS centre.
  • BLS will give appointment only in those cases where passports which have already expired or are expiring by May 31, 2020.
  • Any other applicant who is facing any emergency, may write to the Consulate at passport.dubai@mea.gov.in with a copy of passport and explaining the emergency. We will not be able to reply to those requests which are not supported with proper documents/explanation.

It is clarified that an Indian passport can be renewed upto three years after its expiry under normal procedure. After 3 years of expiry of passport, it can be renewed only with prior police clearance from Indian authorities.

Attestation Services

Attestation Services of the Consulate will be provided by prior appointment till further notice. 

Appointment can be taken either through the Q-ticket App, or through phone number 04-3579585 or by sending email at ivsglobaldxb@gmail.com to IVS Global, service provider for the Consulate.

IVS Global will give appointment to applicants maintaining the social distancing at their centre.

Any applicant who is facing any emergency, may write to the Consulate at attestation.dubai@mea.gov.in
