Timings and Holidays

CGI remains closed on Saturdays; Sundays and on designated Indian and UAE public holidays. The list of public holidays for the current year is attached. This is subject to modification on the basis of instruction received from Government of India from time to time.

The CGI also renders consular services on Sundays at the Indian Association premises at the five Northern Emirates – Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah & Ras Al Khaimah. Timings and other details of these services can be obtained from the respective Associations.

Working Hours Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Lunch Break - 1300 to 1330 Hrs
Public Visiting Hours for various services at the Consulate Passport:
0830  - 1230 Hrs
1400  - 1630 Hrs

Visa: 0830 - 1200 Hrs; 1430 - 1600 Hrs OCI: 0830 - 1200 Hrs
Education: 0830 - 1200 Hrs (April- Jan); 0830 - 1000 Hrs (Feb - Mar)
Consular & Labour: 0830 - 1200 Hrs and 1400 - 1600 hrs ***(For complaints of routine nature)
Death Registration: 24*7
